Alwilda Webb Burke daughter of William Fredrick & Olive Webb.  Allie married Stephen Douglas Burke May 5th 1901 in Payne county Oklahoma.  They had 8 children.  Allie died of cancer Sept.12th 1945 and is buried in Cushing ok.

Mrs. Allie Burke Dies This Morning

Pioneer Dies Follow Illness : Rites To Be Held Thursday

Mrs. Allie Burke, age 62 years died at the home pf her daughter Mrs. Clarence Hamman.  210 East Moses street, this morning at 1 a.m. following a long illness.

The funeral services have been set for Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Memorial chapel of the Davis Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Porter pastor of the first Methodist Church in charge. Burial, under direction of the H. A. Davis funeral directors, will be made in the Fairlawn cemetery.

Mrs. Burke was born in Moline, Kansas, November 4, 1882 and came to Oklahoma with her parents when a child and homesteaded near Glencoe.  In 1914 she moved to Cushing and lived here until her death.  Early in life she united with the Baptist church.

Mrs. Kathryn Tennis and Mrs. Kathleen Endicott sang "Ivory Places and Old Rugged Cross."  Miss Sara Lou Young played the piano accompaniment.

Pallbearers were Roy Olmstead, Sam White, Ress Adams and R. E. Beurell.

Surviving relatives are : four daughters, Mrs. Viola Warthen, Lakin Kansas, Mrs. Beulah Hamman and Mrs. Paul Luce of Cushing. four sons, Elton Burke, Chicago, Illinois, Charles Burke of Cushing, Howard Burke, Newton, Kansas and Bob Burke stationed in Austria with the U.S. Army, six grandchildren and other relatives.
