John William Kennedy Born abt. 1850 in ILL.  Married Celia A. Nelson Aug. 6 1884 in Adams County IL.  Son of George B. Kennedy.

Martha Jane Kennedy abt. 1855 in IL.  Daughter of George B. Kennedy.  Martha married Zach Cole 1875 in Marion County, Mo.

Ida Mariah Kennedy born abt. June 1860 or 1861 in Mo.  Ida is the daughter of George B. Kennedy & Sarah Kenoyer.

James died in 1909 and is buried in Perkins Cem.

George B Kennedy was killed 24 March 1883 by Harry L. Williams at Emerson, MO. Article is from PALMYRA SPECTATOR (I have the article available if needed)

George was living on a farm in Lewis county Mo and crop sharing with his son in law.  George Killed his son in law Richard Hendricks in Lewis County Mo. in 1877.  They got into a fight and George shot him then Richard shot George.  Richard died and George was arrested for murder.  In March of 1878 George was released from Jail by a jury.
