Final rites for Olive Fern, 83, resident of Beckham county for 30 years, will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Church of God with Rev. W.M. Cochran, pastor, officiating.

The elderly woman died last night at the home of her son Bert Webb, Twelfth and Boone street.  She had been ill for four weeks.

Mrs. Fern was born April 24, 1851 in Illinois.  She was married in 1870 in Kansas to William Webb.  A second marriage 33 years later was to Joseph Fern.

Surviving Mrs. Fern are eight children George Webb, Morrison. William Webb, Perry, David Webb, Durmmond, Bert Webb, Elk City, Mrs. Aline Hargrove, Hastings, Nebr., Mrs. Laurena Virden, Emmett, Ark.,  and Mrs. Alwilda Burke, Cushing, and one sister Mrs. Ella Beck of Kelso, Washington.

Burial will be made in the Fairlawn cemetery.
