Olive Ladonia Baker, Webb, Rucker, Fern Olive Ladonia Baker which was taken in a studio in Elk City, OK in 1931 (according to note on the back).
Olive Ladonia Baker Webb (1851-1934) and her
youngest daughter, Commie Lorena ("Lenie") Webb Virden (1887-1966).
The picture may have been taken around 1893.
Notice in the picture, that at this young age,
her left eye is a prosthetic.
Also please keep in mind that Grandma Fern was
an 89er and so when this picture was taken she still lived on the Oklahoma
Territory homestead near Glencoe, OT. You might agree with me that
the woman in this picture looks tired and like someone who has been working
hard.
